Today, January 7th, we are Giving Away...(CLAIMED)

A $150.00 Gift Card from Campus Quilts

Do you know when you get a gift for someone and you cannot wait to give it to him or her? That’s how I felt on Christmas morning. I had ordered my son a custom-made quilt from Campus Quilts and I couldn’t wait to see his reaction when he opened it.

A couple of months earlier I had so much fun gathering together his old shirts. I added even more personality by having pictures of him ironed onto t-shirts and adding them to the quilt too. Do you want to see what it looks like?

Do you see the Superman pajama top? His grandma gave him and his two cousins those p.j.’s for Christmas one year. So on the square next to the Superman shirt I placed a picture of my son and his two cousins wearing them at a sleep-over.

See the orange soccer shirt at the bottom? In the square to the left he has on the soccer shirt in a picture with his dad (who is also his coach).

I could tell you something about each of the shirts and photos on the quilt, but I will share just one more. See the red and white striped shirt on the left? When my son was three years old and wearing that shirt, he got lost at the St. George Marathon for an hour and a half! It was the worst experience of my entire life. We ran around frantically looking for him. I finally grabbed a police officer’s megaphone and went to each section of the park yelling ”Has anyone seen my son–he is wearing a red and white t-shirt. Please, please help me find him!!” We often tell my son this story and the overwhelming fear we felt at the thought of never seeing him again. I cry even now when I think about it.

The point is, this quilt is my son. It makes up the stories and experiences of his life. Even as I bundled everything up to mail to Campus Quilts I said to my husband, “This is our son. It represents so many of his life’s experiences.”  I will love and cherish his quilt forever–and I know he will too.

Campus Quilts creates custom t-shirt quilts made from your t-shirts, sweatshirts, baby outfits, socks, hats, and any other memorable fabric.

You choose the layout of your quilt, select the backing color, and add extra services like embroidery, photo squares, or sashing.

The quilts are fully quilted to ensure durability so you can cuddle up in your quilt, hang it on the wall, or save as a keepsake. Place your order online or by phone and you will receive a quilt kit with order form, layout guide, fabric swatch card, bag to mail the clothing, and a pre-paid UPS mailing label. Send your clothing back and in 2-3 weeks, you will receive your finished quilt.

You might be anxious about putting your valuable memories in the mail, but we make the process as comfortable as possible. Our customer service team will email you at every step: arrival of shirts, quilt in production, quilt shipped back, payment processed, so you are informed about the status of your order all along the way. In addition you’re provided with tracking numbers so you can keep on top of your shirts and quilt in transit. Prices vary depending your size and design and gift cards are available.

If your mailing address is in the U.S .of A,  you can enter to win the $150.00 gift certificate to Campus Quilts up to FOUR times today.
